The Thüringer Holzwerke Hermsdorf GmbH takes off - with a clear focus on modern timber construction, efficient production and regional responsibility. Since the takeover of the traditional plant in Hermsdorf in June 2025, the site has developed into an important player in the field of Glulam (BSH) and Special components in timber construction.
Crisis as a turning point: from standstill to a new beginning
Following the insolvency of the previous owner in 2024, the future of the site was uncertain. However, thanks to the commitment and conviction of the workforce, a new start was made - with entrepreneurial determination, new perspectives and a clear goal: to sustainably strengthen the Hermsdorf site.
