The Thüringer Holzwerke Hermsdorf GmbH starts with a clear focus on modern timber construction, high-performance manufacturing and precise technology. Since the takeover of the traditional plant in Hermsdorf in June 2025, the location has been developing into an important player in the field of Glulam (BSH) and Special components in timber construction.

Crisis as a turning point: from standstill to a new beginning

Following the insolvency of the previous owner in 2024, the future of the site was uncertain. However, thanks to the commitment and conviction of the workforce, a new start was made - with entrepreneurial determination, new perspectives and a clear goal: to strengthen the Hermsdorf site in the long term.
